Meet our exceptional Head Chef at The Duke Hotel, Brad Wells, with an impressive 27-year culinary journey in the industry.
From a young age, a profound fascination and love for food ignited within him which ultimately set the course for his future career. Upon completing his education, he pursued his passion at Ryde TAFE, where he underwent comprehensive training to refine his culinary skills.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has been privileged to experience several remarkable highlights. Notably, in 1999, he received the prestigious Pride of Workmanship Award from Rotary after serving as an apprentice for a brief period. Moreover, during his tenure as Head Chef at Belaroma Cafe & Restaurant on the North Shore, he garnered numerous small business awards, celebrating his dedication to culinary excellence.
His cooking style draws inspiration from an array of talented chefs he has had the pleasure of working with across Sydney. Hailing from diverse backgrounds in the USA, Europe, and Asia, they have imparted invaluable insights into various cultural approaches to cooking, enriching his culinary repertoire.
