The Hillside Hotel – winner of two service excellence and community engagement awards – has set the scene for a myriad of important life events, celebrations and momentous occasions for many a local in the Northwest.

The second floor is the hub of entertainment in the Hills. The Rooftop, features an expansive space looking over the central courtyard below with two large bars and a retractable roof. The Hillside attracts a large weekend crowd to the second floor where, on Friday nights The Club is in full swing, and the rooftop is the place to be seen. To get you home safely, The Hillside offers a courtesy bus home within a five kilometre radius, and is a mere hop, skip and jump away from public transport and taxis.

Hi there, I would just like to personally thank Hillside Hotel for last night. I was there with a bunch of my friends for my hens night. The dinner we had was sensational, bar service was incredible and lots of the workers did everything they could to ensure that we had a good night and that I also had enough seats for everyone. So thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
The bistro staff were amazing.
We were a large group with lots of food orders and multiple drink orders. The staff did table service for us and even brought us knives and forks etc. The food was really great too.
We also celebrated a birthday with their assistance and they provided us with a birthday cake dessert and candles. This group usually meets once every 10 weeks. Will definitely keep coming to Hillside.
My wife and I were recommended the Hillside Hotel by the Momento Group during a frantic search for our alternate wedding venue, as the facility we set our hearts on originally went through a change in ownership and our confidence in their ability to manage the event eroded rapidly.
The event coordinator we were introduced to was Erin McCumiskey. From the moment we met her our level of confidence was boosted to a level much higher than we experienced at the other venue. Erin is a true professional with her approach to her work. Planning a wedding event, even a simple one like ours, is no easy feat.
Erin attacked the task with passion and enthusiasm that we have not dreamed of seeing. She grabbed the bull by the horns and ran fast. She paid attention to every tiny little detail, some we were not even thinking of and we must say she pulled off an amazing event, one which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She went over and above what her job description would entail and ensured that nothing was missed. If there was anything we were unsure of she made sure we knew what was happening at every step of the way. Her communication skills and organisational ability played a vital part of the wedding and she was there on the day well before anyone arrived to make sure the room was set up beautifully and to our satisfaction. We could go on about how amazing this young woman was in her role, but let it suffice to say, that we were extremely impressed with her focus and execution of our special day. Without Erin it would not have been as beautiful and memorable as it truly was.
We would like to thank you for hosting our event and especially to Erin who jumped through many hoops and faced some difficult challenges to make it happen. And that she did with an incredible amount of enthusiasm. She is a wonderful part of the Momento team and deserves every accolade and future success that comes her way.
Please ensure that Erin is recognised within your organisation’s rewards framework or at least allow this exceptionally well-managed event to add to her tally of achievements.

I don’t even know where to begin to express how extremely grateful and appreciative I am to you and your team for the absolute best night!!!! I could not of asked for a more seamless, relaxed and easy night with not having to worry about a thing. Nothing was ever a bother for you or your staff and it honestly just made the night so enjoyable.
It probably started with how amazing the room had been set up, the balloons were perfect, there was a spot for presents and the cocktail jugs looked amazing as people walked in.
Hats off to the chef, the food was a massive hit!!!! I had so many people comment on not only how good the food was but it was so nice to hear so many of my friends saying “OMG, you need to have this it’s just delicious”. I loved the fact as well that the food was handed around and your staff let the guests all know that there was more on the table that they could also help themselves to.
I apologise for forgetting the girls name behind the bar but she is a true asset to your business. I only had to start walking to the bar and she already had a drink being made for me. This wasn’t just for me either being the birthday girl, it was for all our guests. They were absolutely loving the fact that they could walk up and she remembered what they were drinking and had it for them. Absolutely amazing, top class service.
Finally, I just want to say a massive to you Victoria. Was so lovely to give you a hug and put a face to the name. You honestly made my 40th party be more than I could of imagined or expected. I can’t express my gratitude enough as how so so so easy you made it for me. Being able to just turn up, completely relaxed and have everything just go off without a hitch was amazing. Your assistance, professionalism and attention to detail was truly appreciated, as was your little dance through my party with the courtesy bus driver (yes, I saw it and loved it).
