Thank you for the staff of The Governor for another great night. This is our second event held at the venue and everyone had a lovely time. Your staff always go above and beyond to ensure things run smoothly and none of our requests were a trouble to them. The staff were very friendly at The Hillside Hotel…the gentleman at the front door was very polite and helpful. Was very courteous when asking for check ins and vaccination certificates. Not an easy job. Staff at the bar and bistro were wonderful and friendly, food was delicious. Overall, a faultless visit! – October 2021

I’ve been to a lot of places and I’ve never seen a venue have staff that clearly are busy but still look happy to be there. I was on The Governor rooftop bar last night and the line was out the door, but when I finally got to the front, the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The cocktail jugs were top notch, the food was delicious, the service was great, and it was good to see the staff loving what they did. Also, the management there is awesome, no ask is too much – we wanted to be outside, but all the tables were in use, but just like that, the manager (didn’t get her name) and the best guard ever (think his name was Will) came back with chairs and a table for me and my friend. Think we’ve found our new local! – November 2021
